This example is for a long entry. The opposite rules apply for a short entry. When the Rhythm is a constant +2 on the 4 hour charts (price is closing above the 8/21/89) and the 8EMA is above the 21EMA, the 8EMA acts like a barrier that price does not want to cross. The 8EMA is the blade that price is running on and it does it's best to avoid it. The highlighted area of the chart below shows this. The first arrrow on 10/24/2007 shows price closing above the 8EMA with the 8/21EMA starting to separate.
